Howard Groff, President

With over 25 years of experience in the health care profession, Howard has demonstrated expertise in executive management for long-term care organizations.  he has served in various executive management positions for multi-facility operations.

In January 1989, he formed Tealwood Care Centers along with Steve Harl and Gail Sheridan.  As president Howard has overall responsibility for Tealwood's financial and operational objectives as well as developing growth, strategy and establishing company policy.  His leadership responsibilities involve him in finance, accounting , operations and acquisitions.  His primary responsibilities are to develop and maintain business relationships with banking institutions, legal services, insurance carriers and other health care providers.

At present, Mr. Groff is very active in the American Health Care Association, serving on the Regional Multi-Facility Committee and on its Board of Directors.

Steve Harl, Vice President of Operations

Steve, a licensed Administrator, has over 21 years of health care executive management.  He has served as the Administrator of nursing homes located in numerous states as well as having held various senior management positions with multi-facility operations.

Since January 1989, Steve has served as the Vice President of Operations.  In this capacity, he has overall operational responsibility for the facilities which Tealwood operates.  He establishes the operational policies and procedures that ensure high standards of patient care, budget formulation and compliance, human resource development and regulatory compliance.  Steve is also involved in monitoring the economic and regulatory climate of each state in which Tealwood operates to ensure the company continues to be prepared to meet new challenges within the profession.

Gail Sheridan, Vice President of Health Services

Gail is a Registered Nurse.  Since January 1989, she has served as the Vice President of Health Services for Tealwood.  She performs and provides oversight for visits to each facility in order to observe and analyze the health care delivery component of the facilities' operations.  She is responsible for the overall quality of the environment and patient care services and ensures both regulatory and budget compliance.  Gail is responsible for the Quality Improvement Program while guiding the safety programs within the facilities and sharing responsibility for the Workers' Compensation Loss Control Services Program.

Greg Brown, Chief Financial Officer

Greg has over 25 years of experience with national health care chains, most of that being with Beverly enterprises.  His past responsibilities have included strategic planning, management of the existing operations, evaluation of and development of new projects, annual budget preparation and securing the financing of such projects.

His primary responsibility with Tealwood is financial reporting. He is responsible for reimbursement of services provided by the facilities through the establishment of relationships with HCFA and the various State Reimbursement Departments.  He also establishes and maintains banking functions.

Molly Toulouse, Controller/Vice President of Finance

Molly has over twelve years of long-term finance and systems experience as well as five years of real estate banking experience.  She is responsible for the maximization of Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, managing the month-end process, preparing annual budgets and all report generation including purchase journals, cash disbursement, detail trial balances and profit and loss statements for all facilities.  Additionally, she evaluates cash flow management and maintains the computerized systems for accurate accounting functions.
